Create! Be a festival mate! Participate!
We welcome anyone who wants to be a part of this fantastic festival!
Narrandera’s John O’Brien Festival is made up of many people spruiking their talents to an appreciative audience whilst others put in many hours behind-the-scenes. It is the people that make the festival great, one that sticks in the minds of attendees long after the show is over. If you would like to help make the next festival great, see where you can participate…
It is with the time and assistance of volunteers that makes the Festival run smoothly. If you would like to assist leading up to and/or during the Festival, please contact Narrandera’s Visitor Information Centre for more details. Volunteers are inducted thoroughly to be able to best help festival attendees and to do so in a safe manner.
Got great ideas? Join our committee!
Expressions of interest are sought for the 2018 John O’Brien Festival Organising Committee. Volunteers are needed to become members of the planning committee of Narrandera’s flagship festival.
The John O’Brien Festival is one of the longest running festivals in NSW. The organising committee is always on the lookout for great ideas and enthusiastic new members.
Areas volunteers can participate in range from event planning and marketing to general brainstorming. People who are able to work as a team, contribute ideas to the festival, help deliver outcomes and take a hands-on approach are needed. The ability to have fun and enjoy the festival organising process is a must for volunteers!
